APCC9 – The 9th Asia-Pacific Chromosome Conference

WELCOME:
We are pleased to announce that the 9th Asia-Pacific Chromosome Colloquium (APCC9) will be held from September 2 (Wednesday) to September 4 (Friday), 2025, at Toho University, Narashino Campus (CAMPUS LIFE – TOHO UNIVERSITY), located in Funabashi City, Chiba, Japan.
This colloquium aims to provide a platform for sharing the latest advances in chromosome science across both animal and plant research, fostering dynamic discussions that will drive further progress in the field.
The theme of APCC9 will be “Frontiers in Chromosome Research: Driving Next-Generation Genomics, Evolution, and Biodiversity”.
The objective of this conference is to advance and disseminate emerging biological insights across diverse fields—including biodiversity, evolution, and breeding—by integrating large-scale genomic data generated through next-generation sequencing with traditional cytogenetic methodologies. Through this integrated approach, the meeting aims to catalyze further progress in each research.
Aligned with this theme, APCC9 will feature six focused session topics, listed below.
We warmly welcome researchers engaged in chromosome studies from throughout Asia and the broader Pacific region to join us at APCC9.
